Use an Acer battery-reset pinhole only when identified
Some Acer laptops have a labelled battery-reset opening on the base. It can simulate disconnecting the internal battery for a temporary power-state reset. Not every model has one, and not every small opening is a reset control.
If the laptop starts only after repeated resets, the underlying battery, adapter, firmware or power issue remains. The reset result is diagnostic information, not a permanent repair.
